While we are unable to share all of our accomplishments, below are some of the milestones that we are able to highlight.<\/p>\n<p>Below are links to some of the highlighted items:<\/p>\n<h2><strong>6\/5\/18 &#8211; The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/115th-congress\/senate-bill\/292\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">STAR Act (S.292)<\/a> becomes law!!<\/strong><br \/>\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pqcak6VWXoU\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/h2>\n<h2><strong>5\/30\/18 &#8211; The FDA Reauthorization Act of 2017 (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/115th-congress\/house-bill\/2430\/text\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">H.R. 2430<\/a>) for fiscal years 2018-2022:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>On August 18, 2017, the\u00a0 Food and Drug Administration Reauthorization Act (<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.fda.gov\/fdavoice\/index.php\/2017\/08\/fdara-making-a-difference-for-industry-and-patients\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FDARA<\/a>) was signed into law, which includes\u00a0includes the re-authorization of the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA).\u00a0 One of the things included in the re-authorization was the following:\u00a0FDARA provides the FDA with new authority to require a pediatric investigation into an adult cancer drug if that drug is directed at a molecular target that is relevant to a pediatric cancer.\u00a0 This law creates the opportunity for new pediatric cancer drugs to be available that would otherwise not ever come to market.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.khou.com\/news\/health\/funds-down-to-fight-childhood-cancer\/452350351\"><strong>6\/26\/17 &#8211;
